There is an hourly train service from Vienna Central Station to Deutschkreutz, with stops in Vienna Meidling, Ebreichsdorf, Neufeld an der Leitha, Wulkaprodersdorf and Sopron, among others.

There are also regular, convenient train connections from Wiener Neustadt via Mattersburg and Sopron to/from Deutschkreutz.

The start/finish area of the Blaufränkischland Marathon in front of the MS Deutschkreutz is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, the route is well labeled.
The Burgenland shared cab service “BAST” also covers the last mile and improves the accessibility of individual municipalities in the region. One call is all it takes for the BAST to come to the specified stop at the desired pick-up time. Needs to be call 60 minutes ahead of time or scheduled in advance.
The BAST currently only runs between stops and stations from Monday to Sunday between 08:00-19:00.
By car you can reach Deutschkreutz from Vienna in about 1 hour 15 minutes (distance approx. 80 km), driving time from Graz about 2 hours (distance approx. 200 km). Most parking facilities in Deutschkreutz are located around the train station. The start/finish area of the Blaufränkischland Marathon in front of the Europaschule is about a 10-minute walk from the train station.
