On the way out of the village, you pass three renowned wineries and experience the warm hospitality of the Deutschkreutz winemakers, who serve their best wines to the participants for sample it. Well fortified, you walk up into the “Alte Weingebirge” and through the oldest and best vineyards of Deutschkreutz. At two tasting stations in the middle of the vineyards, you can sample exquisite wine samples and regional delicacies while enjoying the expansive wine landscape and magnificent views. Passing the gourmet station at the Kreuzstadl and the Deutschkreutz Castle, the trail leads you back to the village, where you can visit two more wineries on the last few kilometers to the finish.
Excellent wines and regional specialties from local producers await you at a total of eight gourmet stops. Grape juice, sparkling water and still water are also available.
